Works with what you already have
What runs on Excel today
You run corporate cabs and vehicles for clients across India. Several hundred drivers, each with a paper logbook: trip start, trip end, odometer, waiting time, fuel filled. The driver fills it at the end of the day, or the week, from memory.
The logbooks reach the branch office monthly. A clerk types them into Excel. The corporate client is billed from that Excel. The client's transport desk disputes the waiting hours. Neither side has proof, so it is settled by negotiation.
Fuel is reimbursed against slips. Mileage is whatever the logbook says. A vehicle that does 11 km a litre on paper and 9 on the road costs the difference every month, and nobody can say which driver or which car.
Driving hours are not tracked. A driver on his fourteenth hour is a risk to the passenger, the vehicle and the contract. You find out after the incident.
The branch manager's phone is the control room. He knows where his drivers are because he calls them.
What we deploy
Agents, not features. Each one is listed when it is live.
Driver app
Replaces the logbook. The driver taps trip start and trip end; the odometer is photographed, not typed. Waiting time starts and stops with a tap and a photo of where he is waiting. Every trip is in the system the moment it ends.
Telematics agent
Reads GPS and engine data from a plug-in device on each vehicle: route, distance, speed, idling, driving hours, stoppages. Checks the driver's app entries against the vehicle's own record. By 9 am you see yesterday's fleet: km run, fuel per 100 km by vehicle, drivers over 10 driving hours, stoppages over 20 minutes away from a client site.
Idle time proof agent
Attaches GPS position, duration and the driver's photo to every waiting period claimed. Produces a client-ready billing annexure with proof per trip. Hours the client cannot dispute and the driver cannot invent.
Billing brief agent
Builds each corporate client's monthly bill from the trip record, not the Excel. Flags every trip where app, telematics and client booking disagree before the bill goes out. Draft bills on the 1st, exceptions listed.
What it saves
Fuel. When mileage is measured by the vehicle, not the logbook, the gap between claimed and actual closes. Operators we have studied see 8 to 12% off fuel once drivers know the number is read daily. On a ₹4 Cr annual fuel spend that is ₹32 to 48 lakh.
Disputed billing. Waiting hours with GPS and photo proof get paid. Hours without proof get negotiated down. Target: billed-hours disputes cut by half in 90 days, measured against last year's credit notes.
Month-end hours. Typing logbooks into Excel across branches is hundreds of clerical hours a month. Target: 80% removed.
Driving hours. A driver stopped at 10 hours is an incident that did not happen. Not a rupee target. A contract you keep.
Before we build, we agree one of these savings in writing with a number against it. If it is not met in 90 days, AgentJi keeps working at no charge for up to 90 more days until it is. The guarantee covers the first agent.
The guarantee
In writing, before we build.
One number for the first agent, how it is measured, and the date. Not met in 90 days from go-live, we keep working at no charge for up to 90 more days until it is.
How the first 30 days go
We visit two branches. We sit with the clerk who types the logbooks, the branch manager who calls the drivers, and five drivers. We take the logbooks and the billing Excel as they are.
Driver app on 30 drivers' phones in one branch. Telematics fitted on their vehicles. Training in person, in the driver's language, in the yard.
Driver app and telematics agent live for that branch. First 9 am fleet brief on your phone. Logbooks continue in parallel.
Weekly brief starts. Idle time proof agent produces its first billing annexure for one client. Rollout dates for the other branches agreed.
Questions promoters ask
What is the best fleet management software in India for a corporate cab operator?
The one that is running on every vehicle and every driver's phone, with the branch manager using it. AgentJi fits the device and the app to your fleet, trains drivers in the yard, and stays until the logbooks are retired. We name the products in writing after the week-1 visit.
Will drivers use a driver app instead of the logbook?
They do when it is simpler than the logbook and when waiting time with a photo gets paid without argument. The app is four taps a trip. We train in person, in the driver's language, and the branch manager sees who has not adopted it by day three.
Can the telematics agent tell me if a driver is overworked?
Yes. It counts driving hours from engine and movement data, not from what the driver writes. A driver crossing the limit you set is flagged on the branch manager's phone and yours while the shift is still running.
Is this transport management software in India, or something you build for us?
Both. The telematics devices and the app are proven products. The agents that read them, match them to your bookings and build your client bills are set up for your fleet by AgentJi. You pay a one-time implementation fee and a monthly fee for monitoring and the weekly brief.
