Works with what you already have
What runs on Excel today
You make chips and noodles for a national brand. The plant is in Meghalaya. The warehouse is in Assam, 20 km away across a state border. Every carton crosses that corridor on a hired truck.
The sales team covers distributors across the North East. Attendance is a morning WhatsApp message. Visits are reported in the evening, from memory. There is no proof a salesman was at the distributor, and no photo of the shelf. The brand's area manager asks for coverage numbers you cannot give him with confidence.
Trucks are loaded at the plant, cross the border, and are unloaded at the warehouse. Cartons go missing in between. The shortage is argued about with the transporter after the fact, with no weight record from either end. A padlock and a chit are the only control.
Freight is bought by phone. The despatch clerk calls three transporters he knows, takes the first reasonable rate, and books. The other twenty on the approved list never hear about the load. Rates are written in a diary.
What we deploy
Agents, not features. Each one is listed when it is live.
Field sales agent
Each salesman checks in with GPS at the start of the day and photographs the distributor counter at each visit. The agent matches visits against the beat plan and orders against the visit. By 9 am you see attendance, visits with photo and orders by distributor, with missed beats listed first.
Transit weight check agent
Every truck is weighed at the plant weighbridge, sealed with a digital lock that logs each opening, and weighed again at the warehouse. The agent compares pre-load and post-transit weight against the manifest and the lock log. Any differential beyond tolerance lands on your phone before the truck leaves the warehouse yard, with the driver and the transporter named.
Freight tendering agent
For every load, the agent emails the cargo spec to all 20 to 30 approved transporters, reads the quotes that come back, checks them against the lane's last 90 days of rates, and recommends the lowest compliant bid. You or the despatch head approve with one tap. Weekly rate sheet by lane, against the diary rate.
What it saves
Freight. When every approved transporter sees every load, the rate falls. In lanes where three people were called, we target 5 to 8% off freight spend in the first 90 days. On a ₹3 Cr annual freight bill that is ₹15 to 24 lakh.
Transit shortage. Cartons stop going missing between two weighbridges when both weights are recorded and the lock keeps a log. Target: transit shortage cut by half in 90 days, measured against your last 12 months of claims.
Sales coverage. A salesman whose visits are checked by GPS and photo does more visits. Target: visits per salesman per day up 20%, and a coverage report to the brand that you can stand behind.
Before we build, we agree one of these savings in writing with a number against it. If it is not met in 90 days, AgentJi keeps working at no charge for up to 90 more days until it is. The guarantee covers the first agent.
The guarantee
In writing, before we build.
One number for the first agent, how it is measured, and the date. Not met in 90 days from go-live, we keep working at no charge for up to 90 more days until it is.
How the first 30 days go
We visit the plant in Meghalaya and the warehouse in Assam. We ride the corridor with a loaded truck. We sit with the despatch clerk, the warehouse in-charge and two salesmen.
Field sales agent on every salesman's phone. Beat plan loaded. Weighbridge photo capture at both ends. Digital locks fitted on the first ten trucks.
Field sales agent live. First 9 am brief on your phone. Transit weight check running on the ten locked trucks.
Weekly brief starts. Freight tendering agent sends its first tender to the approved list, in parallel with the phone round, so you can see both rates.
Questions promoters ask
Will a field sales tracking app work where mobile signal is poor?
Yes. The agent stores check-ins, photos and orders on the phone and sends them when signal returns. The 9 am brief shows what has arrived and what is still pending from each salesman, so a gap is visible, not hidden.
How does the truck lock know if cartons went missing?
It does not know on its own. The weighbridge does. The lock logs every opening with time and location; the weighbridges record weight at both ends. The agent puts the three together per trip and flags any shortage beyond tolerance with the lock history attached.
Do we need transport management software in India to run a freight tender?
No. The tendering agent works over email, which every transporter already has. It sends the spec, reads the replies, checks the rates and recommends. You approve from your phone. No transporter has to install anything.
Can the brand we manufacture for see the reports?
Only what you choose to share. Most clients give the brand's area manager a read-only coverage view, because a verified visit count is better than the number he was arguing with before.
